Towards the latter half we took at the incredible Apple iCam from designer Antonio DeRosa, and it looks like the talented designer has come with another incredible concept in the iWatch 2.

A successor to the original iWatch Concept, the details of this watch are simply stunning all the way down  to the packaging which includes the classic “slide to open” feature that is synonymous with Apple products.  Don’t think because this thing is aesthetically stunning that Antonio Derosa slacked on the technology features. The watch is equipped with WiFi, Bluetooth, face camera, and even and LCD projector. Check out the snapshots below.

The New iPad (and Apple TV)

The New iPad was revealed today in sunny California, and although chronologically it’s the iPad 3, it’s just called “The New iPad”.

Apples newest addition to their ungodly popular tablet collection looks just about identical to its predecessor on the outside, but once powered on and in use, users will notice some great changes.

As rumored heavily over the past year, the New iPad sports the same retina display as it’s cousin the iPhone 4 and 4S, coming in at a staggering 264 pixels per inch (2048x1536)!  Paired with a super high quality 5MP camera, backlit display and IR filter, this isn’t your average “second” camera.  Switch to video, and you’ll happily be recording in nothing less than 1080p resolution.

According to Apple CEO Tim Cook, the new A5X processor that powers the iPad is “twice as fast” as Tegra 3, and offers four times the graphics performance of Nividia’s chip.

As if the super thin iPad isn’t full of enough awesome technology, Apple has also stuffed it with a ton of connectivity, with 21Mbps HSPA+, DC-HSDPA offering 42Mbps, and LTE chucking in at a whopping 73Mbps if you can get it.

The price point was a thing of speculation, with the cost of the retina displays many people were hinting of a higher price for the new gadget, but Apple managed to maintain the same price point as the iPad 2, starting at just $499 for 16GB w/ Wi-Fi.  Now have fun with your pre-orders!

And oh ya, Apple also announced it’s newest Apple TV today.  At $99 you’ll now get videos available in 1080p and Genius functions incase you can’t decide what to watch!

New Gadget: Belkin Bluetooth Audio Receiver

I hate wires.  I’m always on the lookout for new ways to eliminate the need for things to be wired.  Today I was fortunate to receive a gift card with which I bought a Belkin Wireless Audio Receiver, thus eliminating the need for me to connect my laptop and/or iPhone via RCA cables.

The price was reasonable at $39.99, considering what it does.  Having the ability to transmit audio via Bluetooth is a valuable commodity in my world, and I would’ve gladly paid up to $100 for the service.

There isn’t much to say about this little black gadget.  The connection was simple, it plugs into the wall for power, and comes with 2 cables for audio connectivity — RCS to 3mm headphone jack, and 3mm to 3mm for smaller stereos with just a headphone jack.

5 minutes after removing it from the box I was hearing the wonderful sounds of Bluetooth signals carrying MP3’s throughout my living room, but only in my living room.  The only downside to this receiver is its range.  As soon as I walked into the kitchen I noticed some gaps in the signal, but as long as there are no walls in the way, the connection is stable thus far.

Conclusion-great product for the price.  I only need it so I can listen to iTunes via my MacBook Pro while I’m hangin out in the living room, so overall I’m happy.

via Bentley Mulsanne Executive Interior | FreshnessMag.com.

If you’re ever fortunate enough to own a Bentley Mulsanne sedan, you will be quick to notice the unwritten fundamental – you don’t drive a Bentley, you get chauffeur in one instead. With that premise, interior designers at Bentley integrated old world refinements and modern day gadgetry into the new Bentley Mulsanne Executive Interior. Highlighting both Theatre and iPad Specifications, the concept features beautifully appointed wooden inlay with Yachting-style veneer of either Dark Wenge with Maple Pinstripe or plain Maple. Front and center is a 15.6-inch HD LED display, with two separate 8-inch supplement displays on each of the headrests, thus offering passengers a wide range of flexibility and options in theirviewing habits. With a push of a button, two Apple iPads and wireless keyboards fold out into view. And if additional processing power is necessary, the whole system is connected to a Mac Mini by Apple in the trunk. For those who are more in tune with a traditional mindset, Bentley provides a customize fountain pen in matching pen holder. Of course, a Bentley isn’t for business occasion only. To help you kick back and relax, a push of another button at the center armrest unveils two full bottles of Champagne behind frosted glass panels. Accompanied both are coordinating Champagne flutes by David Redman of London accompany, each a crystal glass shaped in the forms of Mulsanne’s 21” 5-spoke Sports alloy wheel. The Bentley Mulsanne Executive Interior will be making its debut appearance during the upcoming 2012 Geneva Motor Show. However, designer consultants at Bentley are more than happy to carter all of your needs and realize your Champagne wishes and caviar dreams.

Polaroid Flips it Yet Again

What an interesting company Polaroid is.  If you ask pretty much anyone what Polaroid is, you’ll get an answer like “Don’t they make those cameras that print pictures right away?”  So, basically Polaroid is a company that does things differently, and all the power to them.

Now they’ve done it again with the SC1630 Smart Camera.  We’re all used to having smart phones with basic camera features, but now Polaroid has released a great camera with basic smart phone features.

With the SC1630 you get all the functionality of a high end point and shoot camera including a 16MP sensor, and a 3x (36-108mm f/3.1–5.6 equivalent) optical zoom lens, and on the flip side theres a hi-res 3″ touchscreen running an Android OS.  Bluetooth and Wi-Fi offer instant connectivity for on the go sharing.

The Android platform adds a number of features to the camera that you won’t find on others, including a Smart Albums function that automatically organizes your photos by date, location, and people. A geo-tagging function is also available to add latitude and longitude coordinates to photos. Photo editing is available via a built-in app. You’ll be able to crop, remove red-eye, resize, and perform color correction without offloading your photos to a PC. One-touch upload to social-networking sites is also supported. The camera uses microSD memory, supporting cards up to 32GB in size.

If this isn’t your cup of tea Polaroid still produces point and shoot cameras with built in priniting capabilities like the retro styled Z430.

Update: Vans $125 iPhone Case

Back in December I brought you images of a sample iPhone 4 case that Vans had released in limited quantities.  At the time the case, which resembles the classic waffle sole of the iconic footwear wasn’t available for retail, but once their iPhone accessory almost went viral on the web, they did a limited run which sold out on their website in a matter of minutes, and have now run up an extraordinary price on eBay.

$125 for an iPhone case?  It is pretty amazing though!

Nikon D4 Launch Video

It’s been a busy couple of weeks in the photography world with the multitude of camera’s announced for release at this years CES 2012. But the biggest news was the announcement of Nikon’s $6000 groundbreaking D4 DSLR.  But as a self proclaimed amateur I can barely wrap my head around all of the specs and features that come alongside Nikon’s latest frame catcher, but this video shown at the press release does a great job of summing up the potential this camera has.  Check out the time lapse around 1:56. Enjoy.
